Extras

As usual, we have a lot of excitement packed into these three short days. Here are some of the extras we have in mind.

Special Presentation by John Kain

John Kain has been associate publisher of Tricycle magazine and his articles on Buddhist teachers and teachings as well as his poetry have appeared in Tricycle, Shambhala Sun, Yoga Journal, and Terra Nova and on Beliefnet.com. A Rare and Precious Thing is his first nonfiction book. He lives in Ashland, Oregon.

Body work with Al Haferkamp

In addition to being a Prosperos Mentor, Al Haferkamp is a long-time student of Qi Gong and Tai Chi Chuan, the ancient traditional Chinese exercise forms. Each morning he will lead us in gentle warm-up exercises to awaken our energies and prepare us somatically for the material to come.

Banquet

Our annual banquet is always a delightful community feast with live entertainment, laughter, and conviviality.

High quality catering from Buckhorn Springs Resort

All of our meals will be prepared on site and are included in your fee.

Resort staff draw upon an organic vegetable garden and the produce of other local organic growers. Breads and desserts are home-made, and their breakfast muffins (upper left) are legendary. The vegetarian cuisine will be supplemented with fish and chicken for our event.
