The outcome of our days can be shaped by a small amount of time that we carve out each day for the meditative practice of Translation.

When we give ourselves up to those moments of Translation, it is giving our brain a “break” from scrolling on our phones or computers.

Mindless scrolling gives our brain a lot of entertainment (endorphin hit rewards) for little to no effort. Leaving us to feel it hard to motivate ourselves to get back to an engaged life with the ability to respond.

Instead, an activity like Translation is a kind of Brain Training that offers an alternative, a break from what you were “non-doing” by scrolling, to Translation to engage your brain with something new - new perspective, new worldview, New Self view in which to engage with life.

What is also recommended is getting outside, short walks, and smiling at strangers as healthy alternatives to mindless scrolling.

In fact, coming soon, new alternative workshops to invest in a better way to spend your spare time.
