The Acrostic Poem

An acrostic poem is a type of poem where certain letters in each line, most often the first, spell out a word, name, or phrase vertically.

Fall In November by Calvin Harris, H.W., M.

New as a fall Day, when I think what shall we do today?

Opening ourselves up to what is coming next.

Vacation, it seems like, a slumber, a rest, before New Year declarations.

Elevate ourselves now, as if to embrace the changes to celebrate.

Memory knows by past and present what will be the future sensory reveries.

Believe in ourselves as we move to the success of new challenges as we breathe.

Enjoying each Fall day like a School Boy

Reveal it to ourselves in word and deeds to let go and have nothing concealed

GRANDPA by Patricia Lambert

Grumpy old man in the field,

Ranting on about the yield.

And the rain comes pouring

down,

No more frowns from Farmer

Brown.

Don't worry. Here comes the

sun.

Plowing and planting is

done

And so it is..

Health by Pam Rodolph, H.W., M.

Hindrance to my health

Every halfwitted thought that arises in mind

And I let it take me out of the present

 Lost to myself

 Healing is in return
