The Infallible Word of Consciousness

It’s Sunday—time for Bible study.

Do you go cold at the mention of the Bible and Christianity? Do you feel your enthusiasm for life drop at someone’s use of a Biblical term? I get it. My initial reaction to hearing some random term from The Bible was always like getting hit in the face with a cold rag. And that needed to change! This talk is how I did it.

Sunday Meeting - William Fennie

Emergence at Easter

We are emerging, collectively, from a long pandemic and stand at a kind of precipice between our former sense of things and what is to come. So many things have changed; so many portents can be divined - but who can make an honest assessment ?

This talk is the first of a series of presentations on the subject of Emergence leading to our Annual Assembly in Oklahoma this coming Labor Day.

William Fennie currently serves as Dean of The Prosperos

SUNDAY MEETING-Heather Williams, H.W., M.

by Heather Williams, H.W., M.

Introduced by Ben Gilberti, H.W., M.

Be Curious or be Digital

"I wonder if you are as curious as I am - about the rapidly advancing technology today?

There is a Biblical story related to technology. It is the story of the Tower of Babel in Genesis 11:4. It is about people who wanted to build their own bridge to heaven - to make a name for themselves.

The book, In Search of the Miraculous, by PD Ouspensky, says this: “Knowledge is one thing - Understanding (Being) is another thing. While a person’s knowledge is the function of their intellect - a person’s understanding is the function of 3 Centers (Intellectual, Emotional and Instinctual). Knowledge and Understanding (Being) must work together in human beings. If knowledge gets far ahead of BEING - it becomes theoretical, mechanical, abstract, harmful and human development comes to a standstill.”

The Prosperos School of Ontology was founded in 1956 for the purpose of helping people come to KNOW their TRUE SELF - their True Identity is Consciousness, Mind, Awareness.

Heather will share stories to help us all remember our True Identity as Consciousness.

GOOD VS. BAD-Pam Rodolph, H.W., M.

by Pam Rodolph, H.W., M.

Introduced by Ben Gilberti, H.W.,M.

Much of the money in the world is earned through some sort of good/bad thinking. Bat Man vs. the Joker, Russia vs Ukraine, women vs. Harvey Weinstein.  The good/bad battle has fascinated us probably since the beginning of our life on this planet. Its made heroes out of cowards and cowards out of braggarts and given courage to the weak.

Problem is, that battle has never taken place. Join us and find out why.

Sunday Meeting : Obversing Isolation

William Fennie, Dean

Open door into dark room

The wonderful storyteller Rachel Naomi Remin once noted that the Exodus statement, “the Lord hardened Pharoh's heart,” signifies a state of mind where we know we have taken the wrong road and yet we will not desist. This presentation shows one way to step back - to rediscover community.

Conversations with Calvin

Over the Centuries, Eastern and Western Cultures have been in flux. In part due to commerce and the trade routes, and also by the alchemy or blending of philosophical and spiritual thought. Since the 1950s, this has been coupled with Psychology principles.

The Prosperos has been in a rare situation of having a teacher who has created courses that for over 65 years have used this alchemy, and he added an ingredient that many people thought was taboo or unspeakable, that being sexuality and gender. Thus, he created new ways to articulate ideas on new aspects of spirituality and new possible solutions to attaining a Human’s relationship to deity.

Thane brought to his classes an understanding of the elements of Eastern mysticism and added to an understanding of Western traditions. That blended tradition or lens is at the basis for these Conversations with Calvin. These Conversations are to provide creative dialogues; To have you consider provocative ideas, questions, problems, and solutions.

That is my aim in a conversation with my guest.

Androgyny and Original Sin

Janet Cornwell, H.W., m. traces one of the basic Biblical myths to its effect on modern assumptions and social expressions, and argues that we got it all wrong.

One of the most deeply entrenched myths in American culture is the story of Adam and Eve, and their behavior in the Garden of Eden. Just what was, or is, Original Sin? What does “created male and female” mean in our history and culture, and how true is the mythology? And how does that story continue to affect people’s relationships with themselves and others, especially in the fast- moving modern world? Let’s take a look!
