Sunday Meeting: "Letter to a Woman with Learning Disabilities About Translation" With Pam Rodolph, H.W.,M.
It's important to direct your explanations to your audience's abilities and expectations, without losing the points you're making. Pam gives a wonderful example, actually suitable for everyone with a letter that begins:
“First, forget all your Bible training and all your life experience. Easy right? We’re going to learn something new. We’re going to learn to think like God.
To begin with, would you agree that God probably thinks differently than we do? We look at the world and think we’re looking at a mess. God thinks he is looking at perfection. I wonder who is right?”
This presentation introduced by Janet Cornwell, H.W., m.
Begins Sunday, at 11:00 a.m. Pacific ! Goes for about an hour.
All times refer to USA Pacific Time.
